A bit of a political one today, as it’s major news about Boris’ current situation (he dug that hole himself). That he’s admitted misleading ( lying to) Parliament ( but apparently it’s everyone else’s fault!).
What should happen as a result?
Unlikely, I’m hoping he gets kicked out of politics and no one will help him so we never have to hear about him again. except when we teach future generations about why we don’t put people like that in charge (or attempt to stop an entire repeat of early 21st-century politics ruining a country).
There’s already been talk of him being parachuted into a safe seat, followed by a warning that if that happens it no longer becomes safe. With any luck, Boris and his bunch get the hint from that.
And with other Ministers/MPs finally at the Find Out stage with their behaviour, hopefully, more toxic people are thrown out.
