Bring on the unbearable Summer humidity!
With temperatures ālikely to hit 40 degrees againā at some random point (newspapers saying this, not weather forecastersā¦ yet.)
Along with being ill, having hay fever and more surprise pain, Iām not going to get anything done or my life back on track. But the list keeps building, along with at least 3 redesigns and a site shutdown (Iām retiring one of my own). I have to work out where to save money and attempt to get a part-time job locally which isnāt going to make me more ill or take the piss like the last few.
This brings me to another rant (that I should save for another postā¦), the Job market here (oh here we go thenā¦), for being so near the Cambridge tech hub, IS SHIT. There is nothing to be interested in. Nothing hardware-wise, no software, no trades recruiting. Just jobs in care and cleaning.
I donāt feel Iām well enough to work full-time. As a migraine hits, Iām prone to make mistakes and can barely function. Nausea and blackouts also donāt help. I donāt think any employer wants to deal with that. Sure it could be controllable with medicine, but that costs money requiring a job first.
