Still busy sorting life out.
Finished:
- 1 Client is now on the new framework, meaning we can swap/add in new content instantly rather than editing HTML and getting it wrong because we forgot there are extra elements slightly off the editor screen.
- Canned Krtools2/whatever it was going to be called. It’s just too much work for something that isn’t around anymore.
- Had a sort out and made 2 big piles of stuff. Equipment to recycle and paperwork to destroy. Even found my old PocketPC (HP iPaq something… had Windows Mobile and a decent screen) and thought about connecting parts of it to a Raspberry Pi.
To Do:
- Still attempting to get a job I can do (and, controversial here, possibly enjoy!), apparently I’m overqualified for McDonald’s serving (with 0 retail experience stated), but not enough experience for the maintenance jobs they offer (which I did before for 5 years). The subject makes me feel like a rant is about to come.
Also, ‘Urgently Required’ doesn’t mean ‘Urgently Required’, unless it means ‘Not You, specifically’. There’s probably some hidden blacklist that I’m on due to being bloody awkward with everyone, because bugger me specifically I guess? - Finish off CMS/Client site integrations.
- Get rid of the earlier stated equipment, Vodafone says they’ll take old phones/routers, but a box full of them might be pushing it.
- Write loads of posts about projects, stuff, 11ty, etc ready to publish later.
- when got a Job, build up savings again and buy new Mattress, my back will reward me for that.
- Still want to tart the site up a bit, but I’m a Developer and not a Designer, so no idea how I can do that.
- Survive 25+ degree heat for the next months, with special guest appearance of 30+ one random day to throw my adaptability off.
- Find something to inspire me to develop/write more projects/posts.
That’s it for now, back to my existential crisis panic.
