Not getting much time to myself
Been busy, courses, chasing up on people and preparing (mentally and stuffing my bag with everything i could possibly need).
I’ve also been trying to get myself a job (would prefer part time to manage stress) , just to give my mind something else to focus on and stop worrying about being able to afford anything, but writing applications,interview prep (often fails to materialize) and the extra travel is causing me more anxiety.
lots of ideas, no motivation to do any
Started a hard copy project book for my Galaxy Online 2 tribute project, for some reason I prefer to hand write these things than digital. Suspect when I do work out how any game engine works, it will be limited to single player and missing lots of the high maths mechanics what made GO2 interesting.
I fear if i put any of my ideas for that here, someone will steal them.
Prototype pages
I’m working on something to allow my site to present its content in different styles/layouts in prep for a big showoff or redesign. Hoping to use it to show off new page designs without the need to duplicate all the content, or any silly ideas I have.
Technical updates.
Our new FrontMatter tool now tells me I should have 1760 words per article, for SEO reasons (we’re around 250 at this point). I think we can safely dismiss that. To be fair I can’t think what to write to bulk that out and you can’t be bothered to read it either. I’ve looked at default off for weather system, and trying to come up with an idea of reversing how it works easily. Its likely to require a full rewrite.
