August snuck up on us again.
It’s funny how that happens, and yet we complain it’s too hot.
This year, some European and American tourists/journalists arrived to experience it, lo and behold, we got some ‘Actually the Brits were right!’ articles.
Seems the humidity and shitty 70/80’s building design standards is the main factor, as they are designed for rain/winter instead of hot summers so they trap heat inside.
- Heatwaves Survived: at least 4.
- Highest ‘felt’ temp: 34 degrees Celsius.
- How hot was that really: probably 31.
What’s happening?
Not much, still trying to get some fancy bits for site working properly. I’m considering a complete template rewrite.
Enabled Adsense again and its annoying me, might kill autoad placement and use specific units again.
Summer having one last ‘Screw You!’ few days with non stop sun, and hopefully September brings much cooler, stable weather with a bid of rain as plants suffered.
I still have lots of ideas to build or process, but lacking energy/motivation to do any of them.
