A quick sort of September weekly update

I tried, with the launch of this site I’m now focusing on the remaining few sites and streamlining processes and hosting so I’m not dealt any more surprises with funky WordPress stuff, I kinda missing the weekly posting attempts.

So this has been up for a few weeks in Public now, and so far only Google Search Console is the only thing throwing a fit. Mostly canonical (which I can add a tag to all links for), Duplicate content (as its still reading old files from old site) and a few redirects (some oddities with http/https etc).

I’m 60% happy, layouts and colours could be better. I’ve not shared it on 11ty’s discord yet, and to be honest I’d kind of scared of the criticism from there.

What on for September

Streamlining and suriving program wise, I’ve started sketching concepts for KrTools2 (or whatever I name it, DJTools doesn’t sit well at the moment).

We got a new dog, and she’s a cuddler! we got an older dog as attempting to get a puppy or a younger rescue seems to be a huge challenge. While I focused on rescues, there’s hardly anywhere around here where you can actaully go and see what they are like.

So we have to contend with being pinned to the couch until its tea time, which can hinder writing.

I still have to work out how to get the old April Fools Desolation pages into Desolation Legacy, everyone loved these and I think they would sit well in History there.

A spell checker for VSCode, yea I’m being extra careful and I lost my 130 week Grammarly writing streak now.

Something to help generate these post files so Frontmatter is standardized, I struggle with which way round dates work with these.
