PANIC
It’s getting near year end, and I’m stressing.
Still looking for a job I can actaully do, something low skilled where I can take my mind off coding and trying to live, but theres nothing around without needing driving or some high end degree for something vague.
Also recruiters have a vague idea what local means. When I say local, I mean somewhere I can get to by bicycle, walking or bus. When they say local, it could be 20 miles away, on the moon or centre of the Galaxy! Come to think of it, I don’t think they have much of an idea how regular people work too.
Projects
I’m almost done on updates, like a few fixes on one an setting up the host and I can start something (several!) I wanted to work on for a long time.
I also need to look at Eleventy3 now that its released, and push it into at least 4 sites. I’ll probably document it for this one first.
Upcoming posts / planned work
- I rewrote my Gallery post to make it more sinple by using one template and shortcode.
- Eleventy3.0 integration, Transform looks a little crazy to use and replaces EleventyImage.
- Optimizations, a client site I just finished transfering is now at insane loading speeds now I figured out how EleventyImage works with templating and collections… And they say Transform is faster in Eleventy3.0
- fix last_modified_at on this site, its not reading the file dates properly and displays as ‘Updated 28th June 2024’ on all posts, might just remove it entirely as it’ll change to last built dates.
